I missed a recipe last time. Here it is now.
Double Chocolate Cookies
4 cup whole wheat flour
1 c cocoa powder
2 tsp soda
1 tsp salt
1.5 cup butter or veg. oil
1 cup apple sauce
2 cup sugar or honey
4 eggs
4 tsp vanilla
chocolate or peanut butter or mint chips
Mix the wets together, add the dries. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes.
I've been replacing the sugar with honey lately, in all my recipes. It helps decrease my cravings for sweets. Usually you put in half as much honey as you would put in sugar, but since I have already cut the sugar down by half or more from the original recipe, I put in the same amount of honey as I would put in sugar. It doesn't turn out too sweet at all.
